La Paz encounter with Carlos.

Be prepared that this is an all day trip, but well worth with. Carlos picked us up at our hotel and we were on our way. We had told him we like to see old churches so he allowed us time to go into a few. We made a short stop at the Tropic of Cancer which was interesting. We visited many small villages and at each one he told us the history of that village. He is very knowledgeable and was willing to answer any questions we had. La Paz was OK but been there done that. Hotel California in Todo Santos was the highlight of the trip. The staff there was hilarious. I would diffidently like to have Carlos as a guide again.

It's all in the service.

We booked an all day tour to La Paz and Toto Santos. We were surprised when we were picked up by a comfortable van and we found out we were the only two customers. Many companies would have cancelled our tour. Our guide Pedro was outstanding. Knowledgeable about everything we saw and a good driver. Very good English. As a twosome we were able to pace ourselves and somewhat customize the tour. Better shopping stops and time for two margaritas at hotel California. Looking forward to using Panchito next year again.

La Paz tour.

We signed up for the tour to go see La Paz. Our van was very prompt on picking us up. Our group had a total of six folks. Rolando, our driver and tour guide was excellent. He provides so much information the entire day. He was not only knowledgeable but so personable ensuring everyone in our group was enjoying the tour. We took a day trip tour last year to Todos Santos with another tour group and they were not even half as good as Rolando. If you get the chance to go to La Paz or Todos Santos use Panchito Tours and ask for Rolando.
